PLAIN-LANGUAGE SUMMARY

The essentials

CurrentWise provides independent planning guidance based on the information you submit. It is not an onsite electrical inspection, permit approval, engineering service, utility approval, or final electrical design.

The Home Charging Review currently costs $29 unless it is provided at no cost through an authorized partner program. If CurrentWise cannot provide a meaningful recommendation from the available information, the payment will be refunded.

CurrentWise uses submitted information to prepare and support the review. AI-assisted tools may help organize information and prepare draft analysis, but a human reviewer evaluates the final Home Charging Review.

Questions about a review, payment, refund, or these terms may be sent to support@avoidpanelupgrade.com.

This summary helps explain the terms. The full Terms of Service below control.

The CurrentWise service

CurrentWise provides independent home EV charging planning guidance based on the information customers submit and, when applicable, limited property information associated with the submitted address.

Charging Fit

Charging Fit is a free planning tool. Charging Fit estimates the home charging speed likely to support your EV, driving routine, and time parked at home. It does not analyze your home’s electrical system or confirm that a particular charger, circuit, panel, or installation is feasible.

Home Charging Review

The Home Charging Review is a personalized, human-reviewed planning service based on information such as charging needs, vehicle and driving routine, panel and electrical information, uploaded photos, major electrical loads, relevant property context, installer quote details, and future electrification plans.

The review generally includes:

  • A recommended charging path and panel upgrade assessment
  • Alternatives and tradeoffs
  • Preliminary NEC-based load analysis
  • Verification items or questions for the installer

Most completed submissions are reviewed within 24 hours. CurrentWise may request clarification or additional photos when needed.

What CurrentWise can and cannot determine

CurrentWise provides planning-level guidance based on information submitted by the customer and, when applicable, limited property information associated with the submitted address. CurrentWise does not physically inspect the property or independently verify every measurement, appliance, label, panel condition, or field condition.

CurrentWise does not:

  • Provide permit or utility approval
  • Provide a stamped engineering calculation or final electrical design
  • Perform electrical installation work or approve a final installation

Final project scope remains subject to onsite conditions, equipment requirements, applicable electrical codes, local permitting requirements, utility requirements, and the installer’s calculations and final design.

CurrentWise does not guarantee that:

  • A panel or service upgrade can be avoided
  • A specific charger or circuit can be installed
  • A permit or utility approval will be granted
  • An installer will agree with every planning conclusion
  • A particular cost saving or project outcome will occur

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CurrentWise and Load & Logic LLC are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from reliance on incomplete or inaccurate submitted information, third-party services, or final installation decisions made by others. This does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Customer responsibilities

CurrentWise is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and are authorized to request guidance concerning the property described in the submission. You are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it.

  • Have permission to submit information about the property.
  • Have the right to upload submitted photos, quotes, and documents.
  • Respond to material clarification requests when possible.
  • Do not submit fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content.
  • Do not interfere with or misuse the service.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card information, passwords, medical records, or unrelated highly sensitive information through CurrentWise forms or uploads.

Independence

CurrentWise is independent and is not tied to a specific installer, charger manufacturer, or electrical product. CurrentWise does not receive equipment referral incentives for recommending one charging or electrical path over another.

CurrentWise is operated by Load & Logic LLC.

Payment and partner-sponsored access

The Home Charging Review currently costs $29 unless it is provided at no cost through an authorized partner program. Payment is due at submission for direct customer purchases. A third-party payment provider processes payment credentials, and CurrentWise does not store full payment-card information.

Invalid, expired, or inapplicable partner codes may not be honored. Future pricing or program changes do not affect a review already purchased.

Partner-sponsored access

A partner may receive confirmation that its code was used and limited information reasonably necessary to administer the sponsorship or pilot program. CurrentWise does not provide a partner with a customer’s property address, panel photos, uploaded documents, completed report, or individualized recommendation unless that sharing is clearly disclosed and authorized by the customer.

Refunds

If CurrentWise cannot provide a meaningful Home Charging Review from the available information, the payment will be refunded. Additional eligibility, exclusions, and processing details are explained in the Refund Policy.

Report use

You may download, save, print, and share your completed CurrentWise report for personal home charging planning, quote requests, and discussions with installers, utilities, dealers, household members, and other project professionals.

CurrentWise and Load & Logic LLC retain ownership of the CurrentWise website, report templates, methodology, branding, explanatory content, and other original materials. Reports may not be:

  • Resold as a competing product
  • Publicly republished in a misleading manner
  • Altered to misrepresent CurrentWise’s conclusions
  • Used to imply CurrentWise approved a final installation that it did not approve

Service availability and misuse

CurrentWise may update, suspend, or discontinue features prospectively as the service evolves. CurrentWise will use reasonable efforts to complete or appropriately resolve reviews already purchased.

Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, interference with the service, or material violations of these terms. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

Additional legal terms

Disclaimers and consumer rights

CurrentWise provides planning information based on submitted information and does not warrant a particular permitting, installation, financial, or project outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Informal resolution

Customers are encouraged to contact CurrentWise first so concerns can be reviewed and, when possible, resolved informally.

Applicable law

These terms remain subject to applicable law, including consumer rights and remedies that cannot legally be waived or limited.

Severability and waiver

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

Entire agreement and assignment

These terms and any purchase-specific terms presented at checkout form the agreement concerning the CurrentWise services they cover. Customers may not transfer obligations in a way that impairs CurrentWise’s rights. Load & Logic LLC may transfer these terms as part of a lawful reorganization, financing, or transfer of the service.

Electronic communications

CurrentWise may provide service-related notices and communications electronically using the contact information you provide.
