CURRENTWISE POLICIES
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy & Refund Policy
CurrentWise is a service operated by Load & Logic LLC. These Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy govern your use of the CurrentWise website, free Charging Fit experience, personalized Home Charging Review, partner-sponsored access, and related support services.
By using CurrentWise or purchasing a Home Charging Review, you agree to these terms.
Service overview
These policies apply to avoidpanelupgrade.com, app.avoidpanelupgrade.com, Charging Fit, the Home Charging Review intake and delivery, uploaded photos and documents, partner-sponsored access, email and support interactions, and CurrentWise reports.
CurrentWise provides independent home EV charging planning guidance based on the information customers submit. The service is intended to help customers understand their charging needs, compare practical charging and electrical paths, and evaluate whether larger electrical work appears necessary before committing to a project.
What CurrentWise provides
- Independent planning guidance
- A recommended charging path
- A panel upgrade assessment
- Alternatives and tradeoffs
- Preliminary NEC-based load analysis
- A personalized report based on submitted information
What CurrentWise does not provide
- An onsite electrical inspection
- Permit approval
- A stamped electrical or engineering calculation
- Utility approval
- Final electrical design
- Electrical installation services
- A guarantee that a panel upgrade can be avoided
- A guarantee of cost savings or installer acceptance
Charging Fit
Charging Fit is a free, routine-based tool that estimates the charging level likely to support the driving and parking information entered by the user.
Charging Fit does not analyze the home’s electrical system or determine whether a specific circuit, charger, panel, or installation is feasible.
Charging Fit results are planning information based on the data entered and are not a substitute for the personalized Home Charging Review or final installer evaluation.
Home Charging Review
The Home Charging Review is a personalized, human-reviewed planning service based on the charging needs, panel information, photos, major electrical loads, quote details, and future plans submitted by the customer.
The current price is $75 for a one-time review unless the cost is covered by an authorized partner code or program.
The review generally includes a four-page recommendation, panel upgrade assessment, alternatives worth comparing, and preliminary NEC-based load analysis.
Most reviews are delivered within 24 hours after the required information is submitted. CurrentWise may request clarification or additional photos when doing so would materially improve the review.
Eligibility
CurrentWise is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and are authorized to request guidance concerning the property described in the submission.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that the information, photos, documents, and quote details you submit are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide them. CurrentWise may rely on submitted information when preparing the review.
- Respond to material requests for clarification when possible.
- Do not submit fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, or infringing content.
- Do not interfere with the site or misuse the service.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, full payment-card information, account passwords, medical records, or unrelated highly sensitive information through CurrentWise forms or uploads.
Important limitations
CurrentWise provides planning-level guidance based on submitted information and available context. CurrentWise does not physically inspect the property and does not independently verify every submitted measurement, label, appliance detail, panel condition, or field condition.
Final electrical scope remains subject to onsite conditions, equipment requirements, applicable electrical codes, local permitting rules, utility requirements, and the installer’s final calculations and design.
CurrentWise does not guarantee that:
- A panel or service upgrade can be avoided
- A specific charger or circuit can be installed
- A permit or utility approval will be granted
- An installer will agree with every planning conclusion
- A particular financial saving or project outcome will occur
Independence
CurrentWise is independent and is not tied to a specific installer, charger manufacturer, or electrical product.
CurrentWise does not receive equipment referral incentives for recommending one charging or electrical path over another.
CurrentWise is operated by Load & Logic LLC.
Payment
Payment for a Home Charging Review is due at submission unless an authorized partner code or program covers the review.
The current price is $75 for a one-time Home Charging Review. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
Payments are processed by Stripe. CurrentWise does not store full payment-card information.
Authorized partner codes may cover some or all of the review cost. Invalid, expired, or inapplicable codes may not be honored.
Prices and partner-program availability may change for future purchases, but changes will not affect a review already purchased.
Refund policy
If the submitted information is too incomplete or inconclusive for CurrentWise to provide a meaningful Home Charging Review, the payment will be refunded.
Refunds may apply when
- CurrentWise cannot reasonably provide a meaningful review
- A duplicate billing or technical charging error occurred
- CurrentWise elects not to complete the review
Refunds generally do not apply when
- The customer disagrees with a reasonably supported recommendation
- The customer decides not to proceed with the project
- Expected savings do not occur
- An installer later reaches a different conclusion based on onsite information that was not available to CurrentWise
- The customer no longer wants the review after substantive work has begun
CurrentWise may request clarification or additional photos before determining whether a meaningful review can be completed.
When a customer does not respond to reasonable clarification requests, CurrentWise may pause or close the review. Any refund decision will depend on the work completed and whether the available information was sufficient to provide meaningful guidance.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank or card-processing times may vary.
When a review was fully partner-sponsored and the customer did not pay, the customer will not receive a personal cash refund.
Report use
You may download, save, print, and share your completed CurrentWise report for personal home charging planning, quote requests, and discussions with installers, utilities, dealers, household members, and other project professionals.
CurrentWise and Load & Logic LLC retain ownership of the CurrentWise website, report templates, methodology, branding, explanatory content, and other original materials.
Reports may not be:
- Resold as a competing product
- Publicly republished in a misleading manner
- Altered to misrepresent CurrentWise’s conclusions
- Used to imply CurrentWise approved a final installation that it did not approve
