Property information obtained using your address
When you provide a property address, CurrentWise may use that address to retrieve limited property characteristics, such as reported home square footage, from public records or third-party property-data services. This information may be used to supplement or verify information submitted by the customer and to support preparation of the Home Charging Review.
Property information obtained from public or third-party sources may be incomplete or inaccurate. Customers may contact CurrentWise to correct property information used in their review.
CurrentWise does not use property information for unrelated advertising, unrelated profiling, or resale.
Transaction and technical information
Transaction information
CurrentWise may receive the amount paid, payment status, transaction identifier, and partner-sponsorship status. A third-party payment provider processes full payment-card credentials. CurrentWise does not store full card information.
Technical and usage information
Hosting, security, analytics, and application providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, timestamps, page viewed, referring page or referral source, browser, device category, operating system, approximate geographic region, and basic request and security information. CurrentWise does not use this information to determine precise location.
Sources of information
CurrentWise primarily receives information directly from customers through Charging Fit, the Home Charging Review intake, uploaded files, email, and support interactions. Limited information may also come from partner links or codes, payment providers, other service providers, and public or third-party property sources when actually used.
How information is used
CurrentWise may use information to:
- Deliver Charging Fit results
- Prepare and deliver the Home Charging Review
- Retrieve or verify limited property characteristics
- Request clarification or additional photos
- Process payments and administer partner-sponsored access
- Provide support, prevent fraud, and protect the service
- Maintain recommendation quality and consistency
- Improve the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of the review process
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and recordkeeping obligations
CurrentWise does not use homeowner information or panel photos for unrelated advertising or resale.
Partner-sponsored access
A sponsoring partner may receive confirmation that its code was used and limited sponsorship or program-administration information. CurrentWise may also provide aggregate pilot metrics that do not identify an individual customer or expose an individual submission.
CurrentWise does not provide a partner with a customer’s property address, panel photos, uploaded documents, completed report, or individualized recommendation unless that sharing is clearly disclosed and authorized by the customer.
Service providers
CurrentWise uses service providers to operate the website and application, process payments, deliver email, store submitted information, provide analytics, retrieve limited property characteristics, and support preparation of Home Charging Reviews. These providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide their services to CurrentWise.
AI-assisted processing
CurrentWise may use AI-assisted tools to organize submitted information, identify possible inconsistencies, support planning calculations, and help prepare draft analysis.
A human reviewer evaluates the submitted information and the final Home Charging Review before it is delivered. CurrentWise does not rely solely on an automated system to make the final recommendation.
Analytics and cookies
CurrentWise uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand general website activity, including pages viewed, referral sources, approximate geographic region, device type, operating system, and browser information.
Vercel Web Analytics is designed to provide anonymized website analytics without advertising cookies. CurrentWise does not currently use advertising pixels or session-replay tools on the marketing website.
Essential cookies or similar technologies may still be used by CurrentWise or its service providers when needed to operate, secure, process payment for, or support the service.
Retention
CurrentWise retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to complete and support the review, maintain recommendation consistency, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and recordkeeping obligations.
Retention needs may differ for incomplete submissions, completed reports, uploaded photos and documents, support communications, transaction records, analytics, and backups. Information may be deleted or deidentified when it is no longer reasonably needed for these purposes.
Access, correction, and deletion
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your CurrentWise submission by contacting support@avoidpanelupgrade.com. This includes requests to correct inaccurate property information used in a review.
CurrentWise may request reasonable information to verify that the request concerns you. Certain records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Security and children’s privacy
Security
CurrentWise uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect submitted information. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy
CurrentWise is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. CurrentWise does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
Updates will display a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated when required. New uses will not be applied retroactively in a manner inconsistent with prior privacy commitments unless permitted by law or authorized by the customer.
