Our refund commitment

If the submitted information is too incomplete or inconclusive for CurrentWise to provide a meaningful Home Charging Review, the payment will be refunded. CurrentWise may request clarification or additional photos before making that determination.

When refunds apply

A refund may apply when:

  • CurrentWise cannot reasonably provide a meaningful Home Charging Review
  • A duplicate billing occurred
  • A technical charging error occurred
  • CurrentWise elects not to complete the review

When refunds generally do not apply

Refunds generally do not apply when:

  • The customer disagrees with a reasonably supported completed recommendation
  • The customer decides not to proceed with the project
  • Expected savings do not occur
  • An installer later reaches a different conclusion based on onsite information that was unavailable to CurrentWise
  • The customer no longer wants the review after CurrentWise has completed a meaningful review based on the information available

Clarification requests and incomplete submissions

CurrentWise may request clarification or additional photos before determining whether a meaningful review can be completed.

If the customer does not respond to reasonable clarification requests, CurrentWise may pause or close the review. Any refund determination will consider the work completed and whether the information available was sufficient to provide meaningful guidance.

Partner-sponsored reviews

When a review was fully sponsored by a partner and the customer did not pay CurrentWise directly, the customer will not receive a personal cash refund. Any financial adjustment will be handled according to the applicable partner program.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and card-processing times may vary, and CurrentWise cannot control the processing time of the customer’s bank or payment provider.
